Welcome to the University of Liverpool Student Switch Off campaign
Student Switch Off is a sustainability campaign and competition running at the University of Liverpool, as part of the Halls Sustainability Programme. The campaign supports and encourages students to take actions to increase their positive environmental impact, from saving energy and recycling, to reducing plastic-use and lobbying for bigger changes.
If you live in the following halls you are automatically taking part in the campaign: Crown Place, Dover Court, Greenbank, Melville Grove, Philharmonic, Tudor Close and Vine Court. Visit our get involved page to find out how you can do more, from volunteering as Flat Sustainability Champion to winning prizes like Ben & Jerry’s ice cream and TOTUM student discount cards.
At the end of the year, the hall that shows the best engagement and effort in driving the campaign will become the overall Student Switch Off champions, winning Ben & Jerry’s ice cream!
Student Switch Off provides a platform for students to take personal action on the Climate Crisis.
The campaign runs in universities across Europe and in the past 12 years we have…
