Welcome to the University of Cambridge Student Switch Off campaign.
Student Switch Off (SSO) is a sustainability campaign and competition run in Cambridge colleges. The campaign supports and encourages students living in colleges to save energy and water, as well as reduce waste and recycle.
The college with the highest student engagement with the campaign throughout the year will win the SSO Trophy and £250 towards your end of year college event.
If your college is participating, you are automatically taking part in the competition but visit our get involved page to find out how you can personally do more, make your college more sustainable, and win individual prizes, such as Ben & Jerry’s ice cream.
