Welcome to the Student Switch Off residence sustainability audit. The form at the bottom of this page will guide you through your audit.
Please note you cannot save the form and return to it later so you will need to complete it in one go – it should take about half an hour.
There are sections on lights, appliances, heating, recycling and water. For each section you will make some observations and be asked to make some recommendations for improvement. As part of the audit you will need to visit your bedroom, the kitchen and corridors. If you’re stuck on a particular question, or if it is not relevant to your accommodation, you can give it your best guess or just go onto the next question.
Once you submit your audit, it will be sent to you via email so that you have a copy to refer back to. We will also get a copy which we will use to support you with any of the recommendations through Student Switch Off. We may also share some ideas with your university accommodation or sustainability team based on your recommendations, but we will not share your name.
